We chose to stay at this location because we were impressed by it the last time we stayed, a few years ago. Sorry to say this was not as good. It took about 1/2 hour to check in, in the early afternoon, while the desk clerk worked to resolve a problem another guest had with their reservation. It would have helped if she had some help. The shower walls in the bathtub could use a thorough scrubbing, and also the shower curtain had a tear which could have been mended or replaced. Beds were comfortable
F. Desk staff could use a bit more training. This was our 3rd work related stay this year and if it wasn't for the front desk's lack of professionalism, we would highly recommend. Clean rooms. Nice breakfasts. Won't be back.
Beautiful hotel. The lobby and breakfast area are well decorated and comfortable. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfy. Would definitely stay here again.
with a supply of comfortable pillows, not all the over stuffed version that seems to be today's rage. A very nice breakfast selection.
Stayed for a week while starting a new job and waiting on my a apartment to be ready. Had a great stay overall. Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the location was close to a number of places. Would definitely recommend staying here. Only suggestions would be to add cut fresh fruit to breakfast and a change machine to the laundry room. Overall it was a comfortable and very pleasant stay!
Overall, the amenities were great. Beautiful downstairs and guest room. Housekeeping staff and dining staff at breakfast were just wonderful. The check-in experience was lacking and too an enormous amount of time with only one person on a Saturday evening. I've worked in management prior; a manager should have come in if the hotel was short staffed to help. Also, the evening check in person did not appear to have the same knowledge as the am staff I had spoken to that same day about being able to use the business center to print the tickets there rather than stopping at FedEx on the way. I attend an event in the area each November. I liked the hotel but the check in experience and being unable to use the business center may impact whether I choose to stay there for those two weekends next year.
