Good variety of entertainment and delicious food, good assortment of Crafters who make their own goods along with venders with popular import items. Even a unicorn you can pet and fairies you can meet!
We were astonished that she knew ALL of the plants. She told us what was special about the plants and wildlife and pointed out which were native to the area and which were not. Over the years, people have planted odd things in the Sara Maude Mason Park like bananas. We were interested to learn which plants are "exotic" and which were a threat, "exotic invasive."
We are glad to have this boardwalk that provides access to an area that one could neither walk through, nor paddle though. We were so fortunate to have Wendy Poag open our eyes and minds.
Beautiful area, great open parks with quiet nature trails
Wendy Poag is a wonderful, knowledgeable Land Steward. She guided members of the Howey in the Hills Garden and Civic Club through the Sara Maude Mason trail/boardwalk right in our town.
